Attività

L’attività scientifica si rivolge allo sviluppo di sensori ottici ed optoelettronici e riguarda principalmente le seguenti tematiche:

  • Sensori ottici e optofluidici integrati.
  • Sensori distribuiti in fibra ottica basati sullo scattering di Brillouin.

Curriculum - ITA

Gianluca Persichetti si è laureato in Fisica presso l’Università degli Studi di Napoli “Federico II”. Successivamente  è stato specialista di ricerca presso un’azienda privata per attività legate alla Crittografia Quantistica. In seguito (2007-2010) ha collaborato con l’esperimento VIRGO dell’INFN occupandosi  di sensoristica e di sistemi di attuazione.  Nel 2010 ha conseguito il titolo di Dottore di Ricerca in Tecnologie Innovative per Materiali Sensori ed Imaging presso l’Università degli Studi di Napoli “Federico II”.

Dal 2011 al 2012 è stato titolare di un assegno di ricerca presso l’IREA-CNR per attività legate al programma di ricerca Progetto VIGOR – Valutazione del potenziale Geotermico delle RegiOni della convergenza, per la seguente tematica: “Sviluppo ed applicazione di sensori distribuiti in fibra ottica per applicazioni geotermiche”.

Dal Marzo del 2012 è ricercatore a tempo determinato presso l’IREA-CNR per attività legate al progetto di ricerca SAFUEL riguardante lo sviluppo di un sistema innovativo di gestione e controllo del carburante in aerei.

Le attività di ricerca riguardano lo sviluppo di sensori in fibra ottica e di sensori optofluidici integrati. E’ autore di oltre 70 pubblicazioni su riviste ed atti di congressi internazionali. Svolge attività di revisore per riviste internazionali nel campo dei sensori e dell’ottica.
