Curriculum
Diego Reale graduated in Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Cassino in 2007. In 2011 he received the PhD in Information Engineering from the University of Naples "Parthenope". Since 2007, he collaborates with the Institute for Electromagnetic Sensing of the Environment, Naples, where he currently holds the role of researcher. His research activity concerns the processing o interferometric SAR data, with particular attention to the tomographic analysis. He was involved in the testing of these techniques on data acquired by the new generation of X-Band SAR sensors with very high spatial resolution, Cosmo Skymed and TerraSAR-X. In October 2010 he visited the Remote Sensing Technology Institute (IMF) of the German Aerospace Agency (DLR).
In 2012, the work "Tomographic Imaging and Monitoring of Buildings with Very High Resolution Data", signed by Diego Reale, Gianfranco Fornaro and Antonio Pauciullo of IREA-CNR and Xiaoxiang Zhu and Richard Bamler of DLR, has received the award fr best article of the year 2011 by the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society. |
