Management of spatial data through R code development, GIS analysis (R, QGIS, GDAL, PostGIS) and database storing (PostgreSQL) for ERMES project (http://www.ermes-fp7space.eu/it). In detail:

• development and maintainance of automatic processing routines for running ERMES-WARM model and processing of output data;
• estimation of flooding extension and trend within Italian rice district from MODIS data;
• development of MODIStsp R package for the download and pre-processing of MODIS data.
