Global Lakes Sentinel Services  

The project  is focused on the development of a system able to manage, process and produce the data acquired by the sensors Sentinel 2 and Sentinel 3 for the study of water quality in lakes. Within the project field activities are planned and simulation for the calibration and validation of of satellite data, the generation of algorithms using bio-optical modeling and the identification and quantitative measurement of optically active parameters needed to characterize the quality of lake ecosystems. In particular, as far as  CNR-IREA is concerned, areas of interest are the lakes Garda and Maggiore.
