XII AIT International Conference – Italian Society of Remote Sensing “Smart Earth Observation for a Sustainable Future”

XII AIT Conference

We are pleased to announce the XII AIT International Conference, taking place in Milan from November 12 to 14, 2025, at the CNR Research Area 1 Conference Center, in the heart of Città Studi. The event is hosted by the Institute for Electromagnetic Sensing of the Environment of the Italian National Research Council (IREA-CNR) and will bring together experts, researchers, professionals, and students in the field of remote sensing.

The conference will feature a comprehensive program with plenary and parallel sessions, poster presentations, and networking events, providing a unique opportunity to explore the latest advancements and applications in remote sensing at both national and international levels. Key topics will include real-time environmental monitoring, climate change analysis, human impact assessment, and the use of advanced satellite and sensor technologies for risk management and environmental protection.

Call for Sessions – Open until April 30, 2025!
We invite the scientific and professional community to submit session proposals on topics related to remote and proximal sensing, spatial analysis, and environmental modeling. Proposals can be submitted until April 30, 2025, helping shape the conference program and fostering discussion on the most cutting-edge topics in the field.
Why attend?
Since its establishment in 1985, the Italian Society of Remote Sensing (AIT) has been a key reference for supporting scientific communication and coordination in Earth observation. AIT supports open and wide-ranging actions involving multiple players and scientific associations at national and international levels, including initiatives focused on education and training in EO, with a special emphasis on the importance of awareness regarding data and methods. For researchers, AIT 2025 offers an important platform to present cutting-edge advancements to a broad, interdisciplinary audience. For industry professionals, it provides an opportunity to showcase innovative products and services for the remote sensing community. Finally, for decision-makers in land, water, and urban management, this event serves as a crucial venue for exchanging expertise and keeping up with the latest developments in environmental monitoring and analysis.

See you in Milan!
