Attività

Primo Ricercatorore presso la sede di Milano dove, dal 2004, si occupa dell'applicazione delle tecniche di telerilevamento per lo studio degli ambienti acquatici, in particolare lo studio dei fenomeni di fioritura algale (cianobatteri) e vegetazione acquatica. Le attività di ricerca fanno capo al tema dela Modellistica dell'estrazione dei parametri bio-geofisici. Nel 2013 dottore in Ecologia presso l’Università degli Studi di Parma.

Specializzato nello studio degli ecosistemi acquatici attraverso un approccio olistico che integra le metodologie di osservazione tradizionale alle tecniche di telerilevamento. Ha maturato una lunga esperienza nelle campagne di misura per la raccolta e analisi di dati chimico-biologici e radiometrici delle componenti acquatica e vegetale delle acque lacustri e costiere. Responsabile della gestione delle aree a canneto del basso Garda e referente della rete LTER per la Stazione Eugenio Zilioli di Sirmione.

Mi sono laureato in Scienze Naturali all’Università di Parma dove, nel 2013, ho conseguito anche il titolo di Dottore di Ricerca in Ecologia per la tesi: “Caratterizzazione ecologica dei cianobatteri nelle acque interne attraverso lo studio delle loro proprietà ottiche da dati in situ e immagini telerilevate”.

Dal 2019 ricercatore presso il CNR-IREA (Primo Ricercatore dal 2023), precedentemente dal luglio 2013 ricercatore a tempo determinato sempre presso la sede di Milano, precedentemente dal 2004 assegnista di ricerca sempre presso il CNR-IREA. Mi occupo dell'applicazione delle tecniche di telerilevamento per lo studio degli ambienti acquatici, in particolare lo studio dei fenomeni di fioritura algale (cianobatteri) e vegetazione acquatica.
